symantec backup exec Need to find out which tape was used when there is a failed job?
I use backup exec 11d for windows servers. And I need to find out where I can find out which tape was used when there is a failed job so I can reclaim them. I can see the properties of the failed job under Job History but theres not device name: Can anyone help? Thanks!
you need to look at the job log for the failed job. it will tell you the tapes & devices used, as well as what systems & files that were backed up. it will also tell you if & when there were any failures. here’s a link to 11d’s admin guide:
