7 inch netbook - if I buy it, will I regret it?
My laptop recently packed up and I am considering buying a 7 inch netbook. I will use it for checking email and general internet use. As money is a bit tight, I am considering buying this 7 inch from Poundstretcher and its not clear what make it is. Would like to hear from anybody who has used one of these very small netbooks and hear if they were happy with it, or regretted it.

Thanks for the responses so far. I think you have persuaded me not to buy it. Its always good to hear experiences of other people. Will have a look at the suggestions put forward.
i would regret it, if i were you I woulds get a nice cell phone. honestly, that netbook would take like 20 minutes to start up, and you would be lucky if it could do youtube. THAT netbook has 4gigs of hard drive? My ipod nano has more than that!! really if you get like a blackberry or somthin you could browse the web and use email just as eisily

they’re really good for traveling as you can probably already assume. simple internet use it pretty decent too. in my opinion i’d go for it. i love mine

Hmm.. My netbook is great…. I mean I have a HP mini 110 and I have to say it is worth having. Personally I feel as though whatever you need it to do (basic functions) it’ll be good for. I don’t know how much the one you listed specs is, but an HP mini goes for about $300. However, the specs listed aren’t the greatest, (4gb sold state….not so great), but again it all depends on how much it is and what you really want.
So, in all, get a netbook, but keep shopping around to get the best choice for your money.

I have EEE PC 701 (Netbook 7inch screen) the only problem is that websites don’t fit on the screen properly you have to scroll sideways as well as up & down. Do you know what the screen resolution is? As there is no information on their website
Argos are selling Acer Aspire D250 10.1inch Mini for £199.99! A better spec netbook for double the price unfortunately!

YES. you will regret it, my freind who is in school had one she said everything on the display was really hard to see and images and internet was squished. i have recently purchased a HP 12” laptop and it is wounderful! anything under a 10” screen you will regret buying. oh and also if you want to see how well the computer itself is, it will run a diognostic on its self and tell you the ratings of things such as ram, internet speed, graphics and all the other good stuff and give you an overall. you should be able to find this under control panel or holding down something like ctl alt ….
Hope i helped.
if your also just buying this to check your email and surf the web quick i STRONGLY suggest buying a IPOD touch, the price range is really cheap they hold anywhere from 8gbs to 64gb, you can search the web, emails, msn, facebook, twitter and all that other good stuff
